In public-sector exhibition settings, a wide range of guidance is needed, such as booth locations, facility information, and content descriptions; however, operations had traditionally relied on staff, which continually created repetitive inquiry handling and operational burden.

At an event related to the Korea Water Resources Corporation, the Perso Interactive Station was exhibited, and an AI Avatar-based guidance service usable by public institutions alongside exhibitions/events was introduced. The AI Avatar delivered information about exhibition booths and facilities to visitors through conversational interaction, providing a new guidance experience beyond the existing staff-centered approach.

This exhibition went beyond a simple technology introduction and was meaningful as a demonstration case verifying practical applicability in public-sector environments, serving as an opportunity to expand Perso Interactive's scope of use to the public infrastructure domain.

Background

At public-sector exhibitions and events, a variety of information must be delivered to visitors, but a staff-centered operating model creates a structure in which repetitive inquiries and personnel burden occur. In particular, in exhibition spaces, the same questions about booth locations, facility information, and content descriptions arise repeatedly, and a system that could handle them efficiently was needed.

In addition, as demand for digital transformation and smart services has increased in the public infrastructure sector, the need for a more intuitive and efficient guidance method has been growing. Accordingly, there was an urgent need for a new technological alternative that could transform one-way guidance into visitor-centered, proactive guidance.

Solution

This project, centered on Perso Interactive technology, built a multilingual AI guidance station optimized for the entrance of the exhibition hall. The AI Avatar was implemented to naturally deliver information about exhibition booths, facility guidance, and public institution information through conversations with visitors, while handling repetitive guidance in real time.

Visitors can instantly check the information they need through interaction with AI without separate assistance, improving the exhibition experience to be more intuitive and efficient. In addition, this demonstration is meaningful in that it presented a smart guidance service model applicable even in public infrastructure environments.

Results

Through the demonstration at the Korea Water Resources Corporation exhibition site, we successfully proved the feasibility of introducing AI technology in public infrastructure facilities.

Visitors immediately obtained the information they needed through natural conversations with the AI Avatar, which led to improved operational efficiency for on-site guidance staff. Perso Interactive AI distributed and handled repetitive guidance inquiries that occurred at the exhibition site through conversational interaction, providing an environment where visitors could check the information they needed more quickly and intuitively.

In particular, this case shows that AI-based guidance services can be effectively utilized at public-sector exhibitions and events, and it has established itself as a meaningful reference that suggests the potential for future expansion into various public infrastructure spaces.
