In most school settings, managing student health and activity levels has faced structural limitations because data is often scattered across multiple systems, making it difficult to provide personalized care and continuous feedback. Traditional methods typically resulted in fragmented records, which made it nearly impossible to track the long-term growth trajectory of a student.

To solve this, the Perso Interactive-based AI Health Coach was introduced, allowing students to engage with an AI Human via AI Kiosk stations and wearable devices. This environment enables students to receive personalized feedback and coaching based on their real-time health data. Furthermore, a data-centric management environment was established to link activity data directly to teacher evaluations, ensuring that objective, evidence-based school records are created through continuous tracking.

This integration has successfully consolidated fragmented health data into a single, cohesive flow.

Background

As digital transformation accelerates, the need for precision student management based on objective data—rather than simple observation—has grown increasingly important in the educational field. Existing operational models relied on one-way information and passive recording, which made it difficult for students to actively recognize and improve their own health status. Moreover, the administrative burden on teachers to subjectively describe the activities of hundreds of students remained a significant challenge for both record reliability and efficiency.

This solution was implemented to establish a virtuous cycle where students actively participate in their health management through an Interactive experience that automatically connects to official evaluation records.

Solution

Various health data—such as student activity levels, heart rate, exercise participation, and lifestyle patterns—are collected in real time through stations and smart watches, and then provided to teachers in the form of a visualized dashboard. Through this visualized data, teachers can grasp each student’s trend of change and current status at a glance, enabling systematic, data-based management beyond the existing fragmented, observation-centered approach.

Collected activity data is analyzed by AI and automatically generated into sentences that can be immediately used for student record writing. Teachers can complete highly reliable evaluation records simply by reviewing and supplementing the objective drafts suggested by AI, and this entire process is designed as an integrated interaction structure that naturally connects data collection to evaluation and record-keeping.

Results

After implementing the solution, students changed from being passive recipients of education to active participants who directly check their own health data and lead change. As personalized feedback and coaching were provided in real time, students’ motivation for voluntary participation in activities noticeably increased, leading to qualitative improvements in physical education activities.

In addition, as AI automatically generated student record drafts, teachers’ administrative burden was reduced, creating an environment where saved time could be focused on essential educational activities such as student guidance. With the ability to continuously track each individual’s activity trends, teachers were able to understand each student’s condition in greater detail and provide tailored management.
