Case Study: Introducing an AI-Based Smart Guidance System Customized for Youth Public Facilities
About
Youth facilities offer a variety of programs and activities, but the existing guidance method relied on bulletin boards or staff, making it difficult for youth users to proactively find the information they needed. In particular, for youth who are familiar with digital environments, the existing one-way guidance method had limitations in attracting interest and participation.
To address this, a Perso Interactive station was installed at the Yeoju Youth Training Center, introducing an interactive AI guidance service for youth into the actual operating environment. AI Avatar naturally delivers the training center schedule, facility usage methods, and more through conversation, enabling youth users to obtain information more intuitively. It also provided experiential content that lets users explore careers through interaction with AI, expanding the facility into a participatory learning space.
As a result, youth users' access to facility information improved, and through the conversational AI career exploration content, the project achieved the accomplishment of presenting a new experience model for public youth facilities.
Introduction Background
The Yeoju Youth Training Center operates a variety of programs and facilities, but youth users were limited to a passive guidance structure in which they had to search for the information they wanted themselves or ask staff. Repeated inquiries about program schedules, how to use facilities, reservation procedures, and more continued to arise, increasing the workload on operating staff.
In particular, youth who are familiar with digital environments prefer more intuitive and interactive ways of searching for information, but the existing guidance system did not sufficiently reflect this user experience. There was a need for an environment that could combine the educational value inherent in youth facilities with AI technology and deliver it in a new way.
Solution
By installing a Perso Interactive station inside the training center, we created an environment where youth can naturally talk with AI Avatar and explore facility information. AI Avatar provides the training center's program schedules, facility usage methods, reservation guidance, and more in a friendly voice-based conversational format so youth users can obtain the information they need without 부담.
In particular, through the conversational AI career exploration content, beyond simple facility guidance, we provided an educational experience in which youth can explore diverse career worlds through conversation with AI, implementing a smart guidance service model suitable for public youth facilities.
Through this, we created a composite AI interaction space that combines information guidance and experiential content.

Results
After the service was introduced, youth users quickly became accustomed to the method of naturally conversing with AI Avatar and exploring facility information. Moving away from bulletin boards and staff inquiry-centered guidance, an environment was formed where information could be checked more intuitively and conveniently through a conversational interface.
At the same time, as repetitive guidance inquiries decreased, the workload burden on operating staff was alleviated, creating conditions that allowed them to focus on necessary on-site response. In addition, the conversational AI career exploration content drew voluntary participation and interest from youth, contributing to increased dwell time and content utilization within the facility.
This case has become a meaningful reference as a successful application of AI-based smart guidance services to public youth facilities, showing the potential for expansion to similar facilities in the future.

We realized the impact of the introduction as we saw teenagers initially approach with curiosity, then naturally get facility information while talking with the AI and even enjoy career exploration content.
